Kinyarwanda

The national language of Rwanda, Kinyarwanda is a Bantu language which has roughly twelve million speakers. It is also spoken in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. As one of the Less Commonly Taught Languages (LCTL), Kinyarwanda is offered by the Language Center when there is sufficient demand. Interested students should contact the coordinator of African and Middle Eastern Languages (AME).
